I. PRICES
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Any order received after a price change will be acknowledged at new prices.
II. TERMS
Open account terms are Net 30 days from date of invoice with approved credit.
Cash or anticipation discounts 5% when 30 day accounts are paid within 10 days.
A signed credit application is required to obtain open account terms.
Terms of sale are FOB Seller's warehouse, Grand Rapids, Michigan and other broker locations.
A late charge of 1.5% per month (19% APR) will be charged on past due accounts, plus any collection and attorney's fee when applicable.
Seller assumes no responsibility for damage in rtransit. Risk of loss shall pass to the buyer when goods leave Seller's location.
All accomodation sales musat be approved by management.
III. SHIPPING AND HANDLING
All orders are shipped FOB from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and other broker locations.
All motor freight shipments are sent freight collect. Special arrangements must be made for prepaid shipments. Motor freight carriers add charge for residential deliveries.
UPS and RPS shipments are sent prepaid and added to the customer's invoice.
There will be a drop ship charge by the freight carrier if an order is shipped to another location other than a commercial location or warehouse.
Drop ship charges, per shippig box, will be assessed where applicable.
For Drop Ships, dealer must complete the address with zip code and consignee's phone number. Redeliver charges, in incurred, are the dealer's responsibility.
IV. ROUTING
Surplus Coatings will determine which carrier is used for all shipments unless a carrier is specified by buyer.
V. CANCELLATIONS
Orders already in process cannot be cancelled.
Non-tock orders cannot be cancelled.
If the order has not been shipped by the Estimated Ship Date on the acknowledgement, the customer may cancel at any time.
Surplus coatings will contact the customer if a requested delivery cannot be met.
VI. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
Returns will be accepted if Surplus Coatings shipped the wrong item, or if there is a defect in workmanship. The customer must get authorization from the main office to return an item.
Returns will not be accepted for the situations below, and specifically for merchandise returned later than two weeks after the actual ship date, refused merchandise, feight damage, orders canceled later that the dates noted in "Cancellations", or because the customer doesn't like it.
To be eligible for credit, merchandise must be returned within 2 weeks of the actual ship date. This can be extended at the direct request of a sales rep.No returns or allowances will be authorized without expressed written authorization. Unauthorized returns (items returned without written authorization) will be refused.
No credit will be authorized if returned merchandise has no defect in the area noted in the customer complaint.
Surplus Coatings wil not be responsible for any charges incurred on refused shipments without written authorization.
Dealer is responsible for filing claims for motor freight damage. Claims on damaged products must be filed immediately with delivering carrier. Please save all packaging materials for inspection.
Customer will be liable for replacement expenses for returned merchandise which is damaged as a result of negligence such as mishandling or inadequate packing.
